According to Green et al. This type of alliance should also be present in the interprofessional team. To clarify, this means that healthcare workers of all specialty should have the same number of resources as their patients. This support would aid in stopping workplace bullying and violence in healthcare. Having a framework alone on how to handle bullying as a whole would benefit the workplace culture and would create a safer and more equal environment. More specifically, Fink-Samnick (2015) suggests that œleaders develop a code of conduct that defines acceptable, disruptive and inappropriate behavior and œleaders create and implement a process for managing disruptive and inappropriate behaviors that undermine a culture of safety. Having this sort of concrete framework as a reference would be beneficial in creating a fair and distinct expectation among nurses and healthcare workers alike.
