Jennifer Lawson Date:November 8, 2020 INTRODUCTION Greene™s Jewelry Wholesale is suing Jennifer Lawson for breach of confidentiality agreement, and Lawson responds by counter suing Greene™s for wrongful termination. Howell™s Jewelry World sues Jennifer Lawson for breach of covenant not to compete, and Lawson responds with counter suing Howell™s for fraudulent inducement stating Howell™s had no intention of retaining Lawson as an employee after the process for producing œever-gold was disclosed. The two main parties in the case are the plaintiff, Greene™s Jewelry Wholesale, a high-end costume jewelry manufacturer located in Derry, New Hampshire, and the defendant, Jennifer Lawson, a former employee for three years of Greene™s Jewelry, in the position of Junior Executive Secretary in the research and development department. Lawson, upon learning of her pregnancy, notifies the head of Human Resources at Greene™s, Lisa Peele, that she may need additional time off.
