This paper is discusses the Data Analysis of Netflix and what type of movies and
shows their customers are wanting them to show. This paper is also discussing the type of
data that is being collected so that they are able to keep their customers happy and keep
their customers form unsubscribing to Netflix. This paper discusses the data analysis on
customers and what they would like Netflix to show. Netflix will do surveys and ask
questions on what customers are looking for.
Purpose of Data Analysis
The purpose of Netflix using data analysis is to get to know there customers so
that Netflix can bring them movies that they want to see. Netflix uses data analysis to
help predict and focus on what their customers want and this will help Netflix to grow
their business by bringing in new customers. Netflix uses data analysis to help commit to
certain movies and shows their customers are wanting to see Netflix also collects data
analysis and information so they can understand the behavior of each individual customer
or subscriber is watching. Netflix will gather information from customers and subscribers
by asking questions and letting them fill out surveys on what they would like for Netflix
to show and this would give Netflix and idea of what the customers and subscribers
would like to see on Netflix and Netflix will try to keep the cost of Netflix down for their
customers and subscribers (Hedge, 2014).

The type of data analysis that Netflix collects and analyzes is the types of movies
or shows a customer watches or would like to see for instance Netflix gathers information
