Project Reflection 2
This Project Management class has taught me so much over the last 7 weeks. I really
enjoyed this class because I have always been interested in planning things especially weddings.
It was very interesting to learn all the tools and charts to help the success of my project
planning. I knew how to plan a wedding but with everything we learned in this class has helped
organized and plan the wedding even better.
Planning a wedding has always been something I enjoy. Personally, I have had my whole
wedding planned for years now. The excitement of planning and picking everything to go with
your special day is something I can only imagine the day I get to put my plan in place. Overall,
this project management class has been very fun and enjoyable for me over the last 7 weeks.
This class has helped me learn new skills and taught me more about seeing things overall as a
project and how to set things in place to plan and process the breakdown of the project in
different tasks. The biggest thing that I learned was that even the simplest projects can always
be better managed and planned when you have more knowledge and resources to help plan.
The last 7 weeks have been easy for me, I think the part I struggled with most was the
GANTT chart. The set up for this chart was complicated at first and I tried my best to figure out
how to do the chart. The easiest part of this class was planning, I am a big planner, and I am
OCD when it comes to making sure everything is done before it is due. Staying on track and time
management are my strong suits. I did learn thought that with the resources I was given during
this class there are other ways to manage a project and help with planning and laying things
out.
