What we did not expect or plan for was a virus that has changed our lives in many ways. There are many things that could have been done differently to help control and learn more about the virus. In todays world it is very easy to get in a mindset that things will not happen to you. Not only can that be dangerous, but it can allow things to become too relaxed. During my time in the nursing field I have talked to many infection controls nurses and doctors and during almost every class they - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - lives is devastating, domestic abuse, child hunger, poverty, unemployment, suicide are all at an all time high and we have to have programs and relief strategies in place to better protect our nation. We will be seeing the outcome and results of this virus for years to come. It is up to programs and government offices like the one states above to gather the right research, and statistical information so that the programs and relief aids are accurate and available to the people of our great state.
