The Ebola Virus was first discovered in 1976 near the Ebola River in Africa, where it would infect people from time to time and cause an outbreak. There was an outbreak of the Ebola virus from 2014-2016 in Guinea and Liberia. The outbreak also traveled to the United States when a Liberian visiting the lU.S.and a doctor that treated patients in Sierra Leone.
