Background of the Real Case In Toledo Ohio, at the General Motors plant, 9 black men fell victim to discrimination in the workplace. The incidents occurred from as early as 2014 to 2018. It was not just a one-time thing. The victims, Marcus Boyd, and Derrick Brooks, who were supervisors at the motor plant were 2 of the men involved. They said it was a violent race discrimination.
