I have learned nursing theory in the past throughout my schooling, especially while obtaining my BSN. I never really understood the importance of it until this past week. This module really opened up my eyes in understanding why we need nursing theory. As I become a nurse practitioner, even though I will have a different role, I will still always use my nursing background in my practice.
