Petty, I have a better underst... anding on why people behave in a certain way and why they believe certain things. In my experience, I have noticed that people tend to behave a certain way to fit in. People feel that they will not be accepting by their coworkers or friends if they behave the way they were raised. For example, I grew up in a catholic home. I was always getting told to not do or behave in a way that can bring dishonor to god and our family. This included on the way we dressed, behaved in the table when we were eating and especially out in public. As we got older, we wanted to be able to fit in and started making some decisions that our parents would not approve of and started behaving like other kids. Dr. Richard E.
