On a 1-10 scale patient indicates a pain rating of 7-8 for his right arm when it is at rest. The pain increases to a 10 upon flexion and extension of the right elbow. €œhas a desk job, and recently started playing tennis.€ He then stated he €œawoke three days ago with right elbow pain and difficulty moving the joint.€ He took an NSAIDs to help relieve the pain prior to going to work but pain became €œunbearable€ as workday went on, pain is radiating down his arm into the middle finger. Denies numbness or tingling. No other medications are being taken.
