Loss of hearing is the inability to apprehend sounds. Loss of hearing impacts affects school performance, there is an education gap for students which such disabilities because a student with hearing loss finds it hard to understand what the teacher is saying and also does not do well as the other students. Aside from the education gap, it can be also frustrating socially when trying to meet new people or have a proper conversation with coworkers (Victory, 2020.)
