Looking back to how I felt before reading this weeks reading, I did not think of a masters degree in that sense. I knew getting your masters in nursing was important to obtain a new job in specialized health care fields, but I never thought of how much it helps guide nursing. Each area of a masters degree in nursing plays a significant role in helping the nursing profession grow and evolve with medicine.
