Describe one area needing assessment in the organizations health information management (HIM) workflow. The Release of Information(ROI) step in the HIM workflow is one area in need of assessment. Currently, the organization has concerns with the sharing of patient charts between three hospitals and a central business office downtown. The interchange of records between the entities is currently being handled by a courier service. The HIM staff has complications with the upkeep of records and responding to ROI requests.
