3MinuteReflection_week6.docx 3 Minute Reflection Week 6 What do you foresee as potential stressors you will encounter as a nursing student entering health care at this time? and how are you planni... ng to remedy those stressors? Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous. Your body reacts to stress from something negative or positive. Typically, most people feel stressed when they are challenged, I know that all to well. However, being able to manage your stress is a skill. Potential stressors I could possibly encounter as a nursing student could be anything. Currently I find it stressful for some of my classes that we are learning virtual because I do not get the same interaction experience as I would in a classroom. Another potential stressor would be making sure I find time to spend with my son. Being a mother and a fulltime student is not easy, but it is manageable. These are probably some of my biggest stressors currently while being a current nursing student. Some of the potential stressors I foresee myself dealing with as a nursing student down the road, might be managing my family life. When we get to a certain point in the program, we are entering the clinical rotation aspect. Working a full-time job in a hospital as well as preforming clinical skills at night/ on weekends will take up some much time.
