As a leader, it is valuable to create a professional development plan. My professional development plan will include my vision, goals/objectives, and plans I have for myself as a leader. Reflection As a leader now, I realized what steps and direction I need to fulfill the leadership style I desire. This course has taught me many things that I wish to use in my current workplace and forward in my career. Conscious capitalism is one of the many that I will apply from now on. It has taught me to be more open-minded and how to lead by example. Many organizations have used this style and became successful. I want to develop conscious capitalism characteristics within my current workplace. Some improvements that I need to work on are taking in all stakeholder's input. I work for a Park and Recs department, and we need to value all stakeholder's input. We tend to focus on sports rather than all programs and community members' thoughts. "Operating under the conscious capitalism model will show that businesses are the true value creators that can push all of humanity upward for continuous improvement (Shwabel, 2017)."At this point, I felt like I was stuck where I was, and now I understand the opportunity to grow within leadership.
