This assessment and treatment plan comes from a counseling session of a Mexican American woman named Liz and her therapist. This paper will assess the client's presenting problem and create a treatment plan to improve her road to recovery. Presenting problem The information gathered from the client during the therapeutic session. The client is a Mexican American female who reports she is in an abusive marriage with her husband. The client suffers from lack of sleep, thoughts of unworthiness to her husband, or does not meet her family expectations”the client's sleep disturbance reduces her energy.
