Yes, overcrowding of the... prison system has been a major problem for inmates along with the correction personnel as well. Conclusions have been generated to reduce overcrowding of the prison population, which seem not to work, which lead to more solutions being generated. Now, being though it is a pandemic in effect, some inmates that have misdemeanors or minor charges are being released from prison and some home-on-home detention. You would think with inmates being released it would reduce the overcrowding issues jails and prisons encounter but no because you still have people on the streets that commit felony crimes or violating probation or parole that is being sent to jail, which is a cause to the overcrowding problem. Now, to help improve certain past trends I would say rehabilitation would be a great start. Reason I say that because yes, when some inmates are released from prison that have to learn how to adapt to society and survive on their own.
