For many years obesity has been associated with adults and children. Currently, it has become an epidemic to all ages and races as a result of a poor lifestyle. As observed in the community, people have adopted a lifestyle of consuming unhealthy food due to lack of food preparation skills or lack of time to prepare food. Lack of physical activity, overweight, and family history are also risk factors of obesity. In the United States, 1.9 billion adults have been diagnosed with obesity, while 41 million children have been diagnosed with obesity (Kai et al., 2019). Over 340 million children and teens have been declared to be overweight in the United States. Chances of getting obesity increase with lifestyle, thus the prevalence of adults with diabetes. Tampa is a major city is located in Hillsborough County, Florida. Tampa city is in the west coast of Florida near the Gulf of Mexico. Tampa happens to be the largest city in the Tamp Bay area. It is also the third largest city and has the largest port in Florida.
