People may relate safety in the workplace to injuries caused by heavy lifting, falling off of office furniture, running into objects around the building, or other minor injuries. Many different types of workplace injuries occur in various workplace settings; construction job sites, factory lines, office environments, delivery careers, the list could go on. Research suggests that having a focus on safety in the workplace is necessary because it can increase efficiency, save the company a substantial amount of money, and increase the morale of the employees. If all companies, large or small, had a dedicated focus on safety, think of the changes it would make at all levels. Efficiency in the workforce can be described as, the ability to accomplish a job within a minimum amount of time and effort.
