Risk Assessment and response plan? A risk assessment and response plan are a matrix that is used to identify hazards that could a cause the operations of a business to stop. The response of the assessment are measures used to counter reduce and eliminate negative effects a risk can have on a business. The risk assessment and response plan can be conducted in 5 steps: Identify the Risk. The first step is to identify any factors that become a risk to the operations of the business. A team of peers is put together to research the weak areas of an organization and try to expose how the risk will affect the business. Analyze the risk. The team of special analyst will identify and analyze the likely hood of the risk affecting the business. A thorough understanding of the risk is gathered to mediate a precise plan for counter measures. Evaluate or Rank the Risk.Evaluating the severity of the risk and giving it a ranking will determine how urgent it is and the need for a remedial action is needed. Based on the severity of the risk factor a treatment plan should be put into place. Some risks are acceptable and will not prevent the operations of the business. Treat the Risk.Exposing a risk can be treated by executing the risk assessment plan. Treating a risk is referred to as Risk Response Planning.
