It is a biographical film based on the life of Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th reincarnation of the Dalai Lama in the year 1997. The film was shot in Nepal and the Northern side of the Indian border, but the actual setting is created as in Tibet. The theme of this film is a narration of the Dalai Lama™s childhood life along with a depiction of the Chinese invasion in Tibet in 1949. I chose this film because Tibet is where I belong, the nation that my ancestors have lived in, and the Dalai Lama is who I worship. This film shows the rich essence of the culture and spiritual components of Tibet. There are not many films that are made about the Dalai Lama and Tibet. So, this film is dear to me as it helps reminisce the facts of the Tibetan historical events that I have learned during childhood. I have watched the film a few times. It helps me be connected to my culture and brings a sense of loss and sadness each time I watched. I have made my daughter watch this film to make her aware of our culture. It helps me realize the cause of the Tibetan people fighting for their freedom. The film™s visual effects are rich and inspiring so is the music. 2) œMy Kind of Exile https://www.tenzintsundue.com/wp-content/get/k. . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . .. .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
