His twist on this compilation showed that he gave the due diligence because it has been updated and reprinted in several editions. As a well-respected lecturer and historian, I believe that his book will help me as a primary-secondary source, improving that the Revolutionary War was more than just an economic war. As he states and shows in the different author's opinions, the ideological origins show that the American Revolution was about the people's hearts and minds. The secondary source will help further my research into the everyday beliefs and opinions that lead individuals to fight. In this, Bernard Bailyn Shows once again as a secondary source he is a proper academic.
