It operates out of a centralized building with an open floor plan. The layout of the office has no security measures in place. ABC Healthcare Wi-Fi connection is set up for all guest and employees to use the same connection. Hackers can access the network and never be detected since the network is open to the public. The employees should be using a private secure network to maintain integrity of all confidential information within the office. This is a major problem. Files can be easily accessed by anyone within range of the signal. The main server of the company is not secured in a locked room, therefore making it accessible to anyone that walks up to it. Employees workstations are too close together with no dividers for privacy. Employees have complained about being able to hear other conversations as they are discussing confidential information with patients. All departments share a centralized printer. This is a major problem anyone can walk up and retrieve documents that have been printed out. Patient confidentiality is a high security issue, and all records should be restricted to as needed to know bases.
