More times than it should, a child passes before their parents do. Whether it be natural causes, health concerns, or intentional. No parent should ever have to endure the feeling of losing a child. It is one of the cruelest emotion a human being has to face. Speaking from experience I have lost my son at 10 days old. A bereaved parent is the most prone to health conditions such as PTSD, depression, distress emotionally, and can sometimes, sadly, lead to suicide. For this research paper, PTSD is the focus.
