Adolescence is a difficult time in one€™s life and for some it is only made more difficult by trying to look like the ads staring back at them. The images portrayed in the media clips were of thin and fit men and women. One ad portrayed an image of a pear, with the caption that it is no shape for a girl and another ad had 2 pictures of a young woman/teen - one picture had a little extra weight in her stomach, the other was the same woman not without the stomach. The ad was for a Photoshop body sculpting tutorial. There was little to no variability in body shape and size.
