Using my argumentative topic “Do preventative measures on Sexual Harassment in the workplace actually help?â€, I typed that into my search bar and came across a handful of articles agreeing and disagreeing. My stance is that I do not believe preventative measures do work in the workplace, I feel that it often does more harm then good. Since I have come across a mixed emotional topic, I feel that this is extremely helpful for using those who agree or oppose my theory. Advocates for Human Rights, M. (2003). The main idea in this source is that in order for sexual harassment to lessen in the workplace, employees must speak up and take action on those who are committing the harassment. This article makes a fair point that there is no such thing as a sexual harassment free workplace but having trainings and policies will lessen it significantly and it also offers tips on what to do when this scenario occurs.
