Using_Technology_to_Support_Assessments_and_Instruction_November_2020.docx(1) SEC 580 Using Technology to Support Assessments and Instruction Grand Canyon University: SEC 580 Using Technology to Support Assessments and Instruction Part 1 Dealing with Covid-19 teachers have been forced to get more technologically advanced and one way they have improved is with assessments online. I have worked with my own son and have seen how easy it is for my son to get to documents and take quizzes, tests, and even homework online. So, I feel that one of the best technologies to use for assessments is œGoogle Forms. Google Forms has the capability to grade the students based off of their answers and rapidly being able to grade, this is because Google Forms will create Google spreadsheets that the teacher can grade and see answers in real time. I also looked for an online technology that I could use to assess students without grading and more of a practice platform to make learning more engaging and fun. Another technology that I might be interested in using with my students is œIXL (for example here is a link to use for my particular lesson for students to work on live on computers to complete assignments, https://www.ixl.com/social-studies/grade-5/use- lines-of-latitude-and-longitude). IXL online combines your curriculum, continuous diagnostic, individual guidance, and real time analytics to help teachers differentiate instruction for each of their students. You can browse through IXL™s curriculums by subject, . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . .. .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . .
