The development of certain pathogenic organisms infecting either an animal or human host is called an infectious disease which causes ailment to which whom it effects. This paper will focus on a communicable disease we are all in fear of and will also pull apart some of the issues surrounding concerns related to this infection. When the coronavirus was first discovered around December 2019 in China specifically the city of Wuhan, nothing could have prepared for the destruction and devastation this disease would bring upon us all. The way the disease works is by infecting and attacking the respiratory system. It can be mistaken for the normal cold, flu or even pneumonia. Although there have been hundreds of thousands of people effected, there is still little know about the disease nor is there a cure. With that said containing and ultimately controlling this virus has been an onerous task to say the least. As the many research facilities and centers continue use different tests as well as trials as a means to slow the spread. Now that an effective vaccine has been marketed and available for use support treatment are still given as it is distributed to the masses. Environmental factors must be considered to determine the effects on how the disease is transmitted.
