It is important that when faced with such dilemmas, that employees choose to do what is right and decide not only based on the right thing to do, but what is aligned with the company culture. ï‚·One common ethical decision that an employee may be faced with and that reflects corporate responsibility, is the decision to be honest. For organizations and companies to be effective, they must create a culture built on honesty. Communication and everyday transactions within the workplace are valued on honesty and trust, and in order for the organization to be able to succeed, its employees must regard honesty as an important ethical factor and a vital element to the organizations success, even when being honesty involves uncomfortable and sensitive situations or dilemmas.
