C717 Task 2 Template V3.asd.docx Business Ethics Task 2: Employees Rights and Responsibilities and Employers Ethical Responsibilities Western Governors University A1. Employees Rights and Responsibilities Your Rights and Responsibilities as an Employee: 1.Punctuality. As an employee, it is your responsibility to be punctual for your scheduled work shift. This includes clocking in and out at the start and end of your shift, and clocking in and out when going to and returning from meal periods. If, for any reason, you feel you will be tardy, please call the employee scheduling line to notify staffing as soon as possible. Shift trades are allowed with prior manager approval. 2.Work in an environment free of harassment. Every employee is entitled to work in a space where they feel comfortable. Harassment can appear in many different forms including but not limited to jokes, gossip and spreading rumors, sharing through different forms of media any sexist, racist or other offensive content via email, texts, or nonverbal actions. 3.Reporting misconduct. If you witness any form of misconduct including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, bullying, or intimidation, immediately report these issues to your supervisor. If you feel uncomfortable going to your immediate supervisor, believe your supervisor is involved in the misconduct please notify our Human Resources department.
