Technology is well regulated regarding healthcare and focus is directed on maintaining the privacy of patient information. The purpose of this is to identify the application technology in healthcare and its importance. Advantages and Disadvantages of a System Health information systems (HIS) are important tools used by healthcare organizations. These tools help the organization to create and maintain patient information and develop metrics from that information to make improvements in patient care. The usability of the HIS requires the user to have some prior training and technical knowledge. It tends to be slow and shows that it is antiquated at times.
