They all are centered around the EHR or electronic health record. Using EHR ™s and HIS systems have both pros and cons but were made for overall convenience for all healthcare providers. There are four main concepts to go over when implementing a HIS. You need to consider the usability, interoperability, scalability, and compatibility. When wanting to implement a HIS it is important to think of how user friendly it will be or the usability of it. If the HIS is user friendly it will be easier to implement in a facility and less time will be used in the teaching of the system.
