CS204_U9_version_1.docx(1) CS204 Portfolio Purdue University Global Professionalism -Theory and Practice in the Global Workplace CS 204 Introduction Explain who you are and your chosen professional field. My name is Gregory Seymour. I am 42 years old are currently reside at my current duty station at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Having been a military brat, I was destined to follow in the footsteps of my grandfather and father. I joined the military in Augusta, Georgia in 1997 and I am still serving in the Army for over 23 years and just completed my sixth deployment. While serving in a position of power or position of influence in the Army. I use my professionalism to make a personal connection with the Soldiers who will always remain the center piece of what makes the Army great. I have chosen to attend Purdue Universty Global with a BA Liberal Arts. I have chosen this area of a degree because the military has shown me that I can influence many young people in the area of higher education. While I want to strive to influence young students to be better than I was growing up. This course has further assisted me with self-reflections and providing me the tools to become a better professional through effective communication. Life after the military will in the profession field after I retire will be in the high school counselor. I see myself as a person who knows how to handle stressful situations, effectively communicate and I am a caring person that leads through empathy.
