To better understand their level of success and what has contributed to it we will need to look at their financial reports. To be more specific, we will be looking at their Consolidated balance sheets and Statements of Earnings. These documents will allow us to trace their financial movements & decisions over the course of the most recent financial years. In this case I will be utilizing the company™s financial statements from 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, but will be primarily focusing on the years 2018 and 2019. In this paper, I will delve into the financial reporting for the Starbucks Corporation for the fiscal year of 2019. Analysis of Debt Financing It can be seen that over the past years there has been a decreasing trend in the overall amount of assets that the company has. That is to say, between the years 2018 and 2019 Total Assets had a noticeable decrease of 20.44%. Meanwhile, it can be noted that the volume of total liabilities has been on an upward trend.
