This future counselor will choose a theory that is the best fit and will discuss why that theory is best for the client, goals and interventions, length of treatment, counselor™s role, client™s role, targeted population, if theory meets cultural needs, additional information needed and the risks at risk when choosing this theory. Each of these topics will be met with great detail and factual resources in order to provide the most educated and effective therapeutic plan that is in the best interest of the client. Behavioral Theory Application Case Study Analysis Ana is a 24-year-old Guatemalan Immigrant. She is a military wife and has a child who recently turned 1. Her husband is overseas, and any relatives of Ana reside still in Guatemala. During Ana™s initial visit, her chief complaint was feeling hopeless, depression, anxiety and worry. These feelings were brought on possibly by the recent introduced stresses of her husband being oversees while she is left to care for their child alone, and her recent job loss, which has led Ana to worry about the possibility of ending up homeless.
