Get clean or continue using and die. There is a third option which comes with a drug use education and proper supplies to using safely. This is not the best option for most as overdose and other ramifications are possible, but it is safer than being unprotected and erratic. Abstinence does sometimes have setbacks, relapse is part of the process but as long as you strive and persevere through the hard time most people are able to get clean and stay clean eventually.
