I feel the reason why humans have a need to express themselves through created artifacts is so we can have a little something left behind, leaving their mark in the world that showed how they felt or maybe tell a story about the era they lived in. People express themselves because it provides a way to release tension or stress, or maybe it™s their only way they can show their emotions/feelings. Artifacts are created to educate people about historical events that have occurred during their time. The artifacts often are left so that future generations can study them and understand what has occurred and pass the artifact on to the next generation. My artifact was the American flag, the insights I have gain from studying it made me feel prouder of my country. It stands for freedom and patriotism. b.Detail how a person and/or concept encountered in this course has informed your explanation.
