Palmer to see how he demonstrates it. According to the PG writing center, effective writing must be Clear, concise, complete, and correct. (https://campus.purdueglobal.edu/page/writing-center). If the writing is not clear, then the reader will likely misinterpret you or get confused. Part of being clear is using the best words to convey the most accurate meaning, painting a detailed picture for the reader. Secondly, we have been concise. Sentences should use as few words as possible to express the same meaning. When your work is over explained or stretched out it will appear less relevant and interesting. Additionally, your writing should be complete. Incomplete data, especially in argumentative and informative pieces, destroys your credibility, but it also extends to just finishing ideas. The main idea of your work should not jump around throughout the article, rather it should be addressed sequentially. Lastly, we are correct. Like being complete, being correct is fundamentally important for credibility. Not only must your information be accurate but the grammar and words you use should be as well, a poorly written article reflects badly on both the author and the organization who publishes it.
