Due to the amount of violence committed by our youth, its crucial that offenses receive help, because these young children and adults are future adult criminals. Because of these acts of violence, it will continue to increase, and harm will continue to be done to others or the offenders, or worse it could end up with the death rate related to these crimes escalating. What is the underlying assumption (major premise) for your thesis? Our youth are turning to violence and committing crimes at a very young age. This will continue to happen if these youths do not get the proper help to put them on the right path in life. This can help them instead of leading them down a road of being a statistic and committing more crimes into their adult life and in and out of the system. What common ground do you anticipate that you will share with your audience? Young offenders committing heinous crimes could be related to them needing help and not getting the kind of help or support from their home life.
