For example, the use of a widget called Leads by Source would have been beneficial in promoting sales, because it will help the sales department gain an understanding of where the customers are coming from. For instance, do the majority of leads come from conferences, trade show booth meetings, website demo sign-ups, or referrals? Further, this information helps to classify which leads to contact first, and also to focus on the most profitable sources.
