The debate regarding the causes of climate change is still going on but scientists mostly agree it is caused by the air pollution. The consequences of air pollution are also well-known. Just in the United States many regions suffer decreased air quality and that in turn causes many health problems like allergies, asthma, and other respiratory issues. Air pollution affects many populations that are most vulnerable to its harmful influence. This paper will concentrate on air pollution as a policy brief issue, and the population primarily impacted, it will discuss the impact on healthcare delivery system, and possible solutions for improvement. Policy Health Issue The release of pollutants into the environment, particularly into the air, is known as air pollution. It is harmful to the earths environment, and in turn harmful to human health (Mackenzie, 2019). Respiratory health problems are the main issue caused by air pollution. The reason for air pollution as the major cause of respiratory health problems is the suspension of solid, liquid, and gases in the air that humans breathe.
